KR$NA, born Krishna Kaul on October 4, 1989, in Delhi, India, is a pioneering Indian rapper, songwriter, and producer who emerged in the mid-2000s under the stage name YoungProzpekt and later Krsna before adopting the stylized KR$NA.
He is widely recognized as one of the OGs of the Indian hip-hop scene, known for infusing poetic depth and lyrical complexity into Desi hip-hop. His breakthrough came in 2010 with the release of "Kaisa Mera Desh", which became the first Indian hip-hop song on YouTube and gained massive popularity.
